The Project
The Ethnic Minority Business Network provides a space for ethnic minority owned businesses from across Torbay, and people from these communities who aspire to start their own businesses, to come together and connect.
Membership to the network is completely free and brings together community leaders, entrepreneurs, business owners and organisations to meet, innovate and discuss opportunities and challenges. It also provides a space for business growth and opportunities, such as skills development, business investment and resource sharing.
The network was established in early 2023 and is being run and developed by Diversity Business Incubator (DBI) on behalf of TDA and Torbay Council.
Benefits of the Network
The network offers entrepreneurs, organisations, and business owners in Torbay the chance to:
- Connect and network with each other
- Raise awareness of their business, company, or organisation
- Help each other with tips and advice on how to start or maintain your business, company, or organisation
