Please note that from April 2024, the decarbonization element of this support has come to an end. However, businesses can still be supported to cut emissions through match-funded grant funding.

Businesses in Torbay can apply for grants of up to £3,000 thanks to the Make It Net Zero Torbay scheme which helps businesses in Torbay to reduce their carbon emissions and save money on their energy bills.

The Make it Net Zero Torbay programme is being delivered by manufacturing and business development company SWMAS .

There are grants of potentially up to £3,000 for:

•              LED lighting and lighting controls

•              Boilers/heating plant/equipment/batteries (power generation)

•              Heating/Cooling controls

•              Specialist energy efficient equipment (for example, manufacturing tools)

•              Increased energy efficient equipment (for example, refrigeration)

•              Heat recovery systems

•              Solar installations, wind turbine, heat pumps

•              Electric vehicle infrastructure (for example, charging points, batteries)

•              Smart Energy Monitoring system
